Math Lesson 172: Measuring Angles, Part II

We can convert degrees into radians and vice-versa by doing this simple trick: Θ = s ÷ r, in which s stands for the arc length, r stands for radians, and Θ is the measure in degrees. If we switch the formula up a bit, we can see that:  r = s ÷ Θ gives us the measure in radians.

There are also somethings that you need to know about the radian representation of degree measures. /6 radians = a half-circle, π/6 = 30 degrees, π radians = 180 degrees.
