Science Lesson 168: Making Mobile Apps

Mobile phones are becoming increasingly popular. They’re often used for social media, which are accessed via apps. They are used for calculating, searching, and having fun. But all of these things have something in common. You need an app to access all of those capabilities.

With this in mind, this kid has started creating mobile apps and games, while this one has already created around 15 or more by now.

With this in mind, many companies decided to help people who don’t know how to program create videogames. Some, like this one, give you templates, and you just “Photoshop” it until you get the desired outcome.

Others, such as this, allows you to code in an oversimplified language, so that you can get the feel of JavaScript (the language that’s used). It also includes a bridge which you can use to start programming in real JavaScript, instead of simplified tags.
